Toast with custard

INGREDIENTS
1 loaf of bread
Lemon rind
1 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 stick of cinnamon
Olive oil
1 envelope of custard preparation

PREPARATION

Boil the milk with a stick of cinnamon and lemon rind. Boil for 5 minutes and add half of the sugar. Stir, remove the milk from the flame and allow cooling.

Cut 12 slices of bread. Whisk the eggs in a bowl. Place the milk on a dish. Soak the bread slices in the milk and let them drain on a rack.

Pass the slices through the whisked egg. Heat plenty of oil in a pan and as soon as it smokes, fry them on both sides and remove them onto a dish.

Prepare the custard following the instructions in the container. Allow cooling.
Cover the bottom of four plates with a layer of custard and place the slices on top.
