INGREDIENTS
5 oz of bread (form the day before)
8 tbsp of olive oil
3 oz of cured ham
4 cloves of garlic
1 L of broth
1 tbsp of sweet pepper
1/2 tbsp of chili pepper
Salt to taste
PREPARATION
Slice the cloves of garlic lightly and brown them lightly with the diced ham in hot oil (you will have better results with an earthenware saucepan); remove them and reserve.
Add the sliced bread and stir with a wooden spoon. When it is soaked in oil, add the sweet pepper and chili (optional), season everything and pour the hot broth.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes (if it turns out dry, add water or broth). Serve in individual bowls with the garlic and ham.
